EPISODE 2 | SEPTEMBER 29, 2026 | 13 MINUTES
Some of the biggest decisions in your life are the ones you never actually made.
You didn't choose to stay. You just didn't leave. You didn't choose that career again. You just kept showing up.
In this episode, Sandy pulls the thread on the lives we build by default—and what happens when we finally stop long enough to ask: Did I choose this?
PULL THE THREAD
Sometimes we make a decision. Other times, we just keep making the same choice without realizing we're choosing anything at all.
We stay in the job. We follow the routine. We keep saying yes to the things we've always said yes to. And before long, the life we're living starts to feel less like something we chose and more like something we're supposed to keep doing.
But there's a difference between being committed to a life you've built and being afraid to question whether it still fits. Just because something made sense ten years ago doesn't mean we're obligated to keep choosing it today.
That's the thread worth pulling: Are we staying because this is still the life we want—or because changing direction would require us to admit that maybe it isn't?
STILL UNTANGLING
The conversation doesn't always end when the episode does. Every other Sunday, I share what I'm still questioning, reconsidering, and trying to make sense of.
